Christmas Bazaar RDB Astana

Radisson Hotel Astana held the greatest annual event on December, 7. Annual Christmas Charity Fair was organized together with the diplomatic corps of Kazakhstan. Everyone had a unique opportunity to experience the culture and traditions of other countries, as well as purchase goods imported by diplomats from all over the world for the seventh time.

It is worth noting that this year Bazaar will go down in history for its record number of visitors (more than 5,000), through which about 20 million Tenge were raised only in a few hours.

Radisson Hotel Astana was immersed in the atmosphere of the Christmas rush till the early morning. The hotel staff did their best to give visitors an unforgettable mood of the upcoming winter holidays. The fair presents products from more than 40 countries participants. Embassies pleased with all the traditional culinary specialties: visitors were treated with a selection of fine pastries and delicious desserts. The program included two lotteries in order to win fabulous prizes.

The most important prize in the Grand Raffle was accommodation for two in one of the most fabulous hotels in Europe – Radisson Blu Hotel at Disneyland® Paris.

Grand prize winner was congratulated by Fedor Filimonov, General Manager at Radisson Hotel Astana and Park Inn by Radisson Astana. “I congratulate the winner of our lottery; we wish him a memorable trip and stunning emotions at the Radisson Blu Hotel at Disneyland® Paris. Special thanks to our colleagues for their support in our charity event “, – said Fedor Filimonov.
All raised money will be transferred to 17 different social institutions.

Taking responsibility for the environment and local community has been an important part of the broader commitment of the Rezidor Hotel Group to sustainable development for many years. In 2001, this commitment was fortified and placed within the scope of a programme called Responsible Business (RB).

Radisson Hotel Astana has once again proved the success of this programme and encouraged local organizations to active participation in charity.
