Best practices help guests and staff stay in shape!

The Radisson Blu Grand hotel in Sofia now offers guests a free bike-hire scheme so that they can see the city in a green and healthy way. The scheme is possible thank to a partnership between the hotel an a local Bulgarian bicycle hire company called Drag.

The bicycles are located in front of the hotel in a nice retro stand. From sunrise to sunset, guests are encouraged to take a bike, free of charge, and experience the sights of Sofia. Helmets, locks and a selection of bike maps are provided by the hotel.

This initiative goes beyond the hotel’s compulsory Green Key commitments and has already proved a success with guests.

The event will incorporate the promotion of healthy lifestyles. In the restaurant`s menu, vegetarian, organic and locally produced food is offered. Moroever Special menus, made from local and healthy ingredients, are from time to time also being available in the staff canteen.
