Madrid is often said to be the most Spanish city in Spain, but it is also the most passionate city in Europe. Very few people are originally from Madrid, making it arguably one of the most open and most welcoming capitals.
The Radisson Blu Madrid Prado is a boutique-style luxury in the heart of Madrid, ideally located in the vibrant “Barrio de las Letras” and is just steps away from two of Spain’s most renowned museums: the Museo del Prado and Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia. From this idyllic Golden Triangle location, visitors can readily reach CaixaForum Madrid and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum as well!
During Responsible Business Action Month 2013, the Radisson Blu Madrid Prado donated school supplies to the World Vision, an organisation which helps children in Africa and Latin America. Staff from the hotel also participated in a sponsored walk for the World Childhood Foundation – Rezidor’s corporate charity.
The hotel is really interested in Serve the City actions; after the first Soap & the City donation on June 5th, the Radisson Blu Madrid Prado would like to continue in the same lines in close cooperation with Serve the city for their key Think Together actions during the next Responsible Business Action Month in September 2014.
In Madrid, Serve the City works with a wide variety of organisations including hospitals, education groups, homeless charities and more. They strive to ensure all of their volunteers have personal interaction with the people who they serve and work hard to ensure they give people the one thing we all need – a little bit of friendship!
